Welcome to Queens Park Arts Centre and Limelight Theatre’s website

We are currently looking for Voluntary Marketing Assistants, please see the information pages on how to apply.

Welcome to the Autumn 2010 season.

This season the Limelight Theatre highlights include, from Southern India - the Kala Chethana Kathakali Troupe who use drama, dance, music, the visual arts and ritual to escort the audience to an enchanting world of legends and storytelling - definitely one to watch. We also have Jon Otway, Robert Ince, ‘How the Koala Learnt to Hug’ and Robert Fowler. And don’t miss out on our monthly film nights.

We will also be selling selected tickets for the Spring / Summer 2011 season in the autumn. We have already confirmed Steve Knightley and Hull Truck Theatre with ‘Lady Chatterley’s Lover’ so book early to avoid disappointment.

Queens Park Arts Centre will be involved in the Big Draw in October, and in November we will host our annual Art & Craft Fair.

We are also hoping to start up short weekly workshops (4-6 week duration) to run in conjunction with those currently programmed. If you have a skill you would like to pass on ontact louise@qpc.org. Spaces can be hired or you can volunteer as a tutor.

QPC is eager to cut down the amount of postal mail outs we send. Sign up to our e-mailing list today by sending your details to info@qpc.org and receive regular updates about upcoming events.

We are continuing to fundraise for our ambitious Refurbishment Appeal so please support our forthcoming fundraising events - including a production of ‘Damages’ by Steve Thompson and ‘Friends of the Blues’. Thank you for your continued support of Queens Park Arts Centre and The Limelight Theatre in this our 30th year and we look forward to welcoming you at the centre.

Best wishes,

Louise Griffiths-Kimber
Acting General Manager
